Biographical Notes

Roberto Sanchirico is a Chemical Engineer graduated at University of Naples “Federico II”. He received his MSc with a thesis on “Selective reduction of NOx over V₂V₅/TiO₂ catalysts prepared by means of the adsorption at equilibrium method” (advisor prof. Gennaro Russo). In 2001 he joined as full researcher the Institute of Research on Combustion (IRC/CNR). His principal scientific interests are mainly focused on industrial chemical safety concerns. His recent activities are concerned with the thermokinetic characterization of thermally unstable systems and on the study of the explosive behaviour of complex hybrid systems.
