Biographical Notes

Osvalda Senneca was born in Napoli on 15.12.1969. She graduated cum laude in Chemical Engineering (27.1.1994) and obtained a PhD in Chemical Engineering (1998) from the University Federico II of Naples. Osvalda Senneca is senior researcher (with tenure) of the Institute of Research on Combustion of the Italian National Research Council since 2007.  Beforehand she was tenure researcher at the same institute (2001-2007), fellow of the  Department of Chemical Engineering of the University of Naples Federico II (1998-2001), engineer in the research division of FISIA (Fiat Impresa Sistemi Ambientali) (1994-1995). The activity of Osvalda Senneca  concerns thermochemical conversion of solid fuels, going from  the analysis and improvement of current technologies to the development of innovative  technologies with high efficiency and low environmental impact. Her expertise covers a wide range of solid fuels, from coal to wastes of civil and industrial origin, biomass etc
